The World of Darkness beckons.

In addition to the wiki tips below, there are a few things to keep in mind. Darkness in New Orleans is a crossover chronicle. I run Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Ascension, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse stories all within the same world. Thus, events in a Vampire story can have an impact upon events in a Mage story, and so on. This does NOT mean that vampires can join werewolf packs or that werewolves can be part of a Mage cabal. Nevertheless it is important to remember that there are other stories happening that might have an impact upon a story you are participating in telling and vice versa!

It is also important to note the purpose of this site: chronicling useful information. Keep in mind that this site contains a lot of information your character probably does not know. Therefore, it is absolutely crucial that you remember to separate in-character knowledge (things that your character has learned from a prelude and storytelling sessions) from out-of-character knowledge (things that you know as a player by reading a rulebook or perhaps reading this site). Experienced role-players know this, but it bears repeating for newer players. You may of course enjoy the full contents of this site, much as you would enjoy watching a cut scene in which the villain reveals a plan to his henchmen even though you are rooting for the hero. You may also add to these pages as you wish, updating character information, logging your character's thoughts or perspective from a story session in the adventure log, creating a wiki page for something you would like to note, or adding to and editing existing wiki pages to keep information up-to-date.

Finally, there are some helpful tags you may use to organize and find information more quickly. You can always add tags whenever creating a character, adventure log, or wiki page. Some of the more common tags are listed below:
MtAs - Use this tag for Mage: The Ascension content.
VtM – Use this tag for Vampire: The Masquerade content.
WtA – Use this tag for Werewolf: The Apocalypse content.

Welcome to your wiki!

This is your wiki Main Page. It serves as a starting point for your wiki. From here you can begin organizing your campaign! To get you started, here are some examples of what you can do with the wiki. To see how these work, click on the edit icon next to the page title at the top and just start playing around. Don't worry, you won't break anything.

Creating a new page

Linking to characters

For PCs and NPCs in your campaign, use the Character Link button to the right.
